Westport Announces GAZ Group as a Launch Partner for the WP580 Natural Gas System

Commercial Availability Expected in 2014

Westport signs agreement with GAZ Group to design and develop spark ignited natural gas systems for a new range of GAZ Group CNG commercial vehicles. Westport's new WP580 Engine Management System will be applied to GAZ's YaMZ-530 4.4L and 6.6L diesel engines and will incorporate Westport proprietary components and technology in the multi-year development and supply agreement signed today.

Cummins Westport ISX12 G Receives 2013 U.S. EPA Certification

Cummins Westport ISX12 G engine has received certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), meeting both the EPA 2013 regulations and the new greenhouse gas and fuel-efficiency rules that will take effect in 2014. Limited production of the ISX12 G begins in April, with full production scheduled to start in August.

Westport Launches Ford F-450 and F-550 with Bi-Fuel Westport WiNG™ Power System at NTEA Show
