First MidRange engine in North America to reduce NOx emissions by 90% from EPA 2010

Cummins Westport Inc. announces the new ISL G Near Zero (NZ) NOx natural gas engine is the first MidRange engine in North America to receive emission certifications from both U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Air Resources Board (ARB) in California that meet the 0.02 g/bhp-hr optional Near Zero NOx Emissions standards for medium-duty truck, urban bus, school bus and refuse applications.

Cummins Westport ISX12 G Receives 2013 U.S. EPA Certification

Cummins Westport ISX12 G engine has received certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), meeting both the EPA 2013 regulations and the new greenhouse gas and fuel-efficiency rules that will take effect in 2014. Westport Heavy-Duty Engine Receives 2010 U.S. EPA Certification

Westport HD 2010 15L engine has been certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to 2010 emissions compliance. The GX engine is certified and compliant to U.S. EPA 2010 emission limits of 0.2 g/bhp-hr oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and 0.01 g/bhp-hr particulate matter (PM) without the use of emissions credits. Adding to the U.S. certification, Australia’s Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government has certified the Westport HD engine in compliance with the Australian Design Rules (ADR) 80/03, which takes effect for all heavy-duty truck models starting January 2011.
